• I want to display the featured image at the top of each post in English and Japanese. Japanese is set to the default language and this featured image displays correctly. However, the English featured image does not display. I have tried uploading 2 different files for featured image and assigning them for Japanese and English but this doesn’t work. When I deactivate the plugin, the featured images show as normal.

I really need to find a solution to this problem. Can someone please take a look, and help me sort it out?

    Thank you,

    Simon

    Hi
    I have same issue.
Can we use different image for each language.
    Thanks

Hi, I’m also having the same issue. I’m using Elementor and Phlox, in the main language everything works like a charm. But in the second one Portuguese I couldn’t figure out a way to site the featured image in the posts. I’ve tried change the featured image on the second language but still.

Did anyone find a way to work around this problem? I don’t mind if the solution is not very user-friendly but without this feature, I can’t use Polylang and every other multilingual plugin creates a problem with other plugins…

Hi I am also using Phlox Theme. And have exactly the same issue. Post image is displayed in main language but in 2nd language it is not.. Any solutions for that?

It is default for the Polylang plugin to enable multilingual support for media. This should be turned off. You can do this by unchecking the ‘Activate languages and translations for media’ option, in the settings area of the Polylang plugin.

    It solve this problem.

Thanks @teddyramirez. I have deactivated that option, but the problem persists.

Oh Im sorry I had the same problem and that was the solution I found in google. ??

I was able to set different featured images with a change to the settings under the Polylang Language settings. There is a section called Synchronization. Choose options and deselect featured image. Then save. After that I set the featured image for each translation and it displays correctly for each.

It will always show the latest update. If I update the english version and save – the german version will have the english images and vice versa.

    Any ideas?
Synchronization for featured image is turned off

P.S We are selling books and the correct images is essential
