Polylang use with sliders

  • Hello Support Forum,

    Our photographs are formatted with captions in four languages in the Media Library, using polylang plugin. I want to create a single slider, which when inserted into a page, will use the captions in the correct language.

    If we insert a single photo onto a page, the correct language caption is selected.

    However, when included in a slider gallery, the photo captions do not switch depending on which language version of the site the reader is using. The captions are always in English (the language in which we created the slider). We have tried using multiple slider widgets, including MetaSlider, which advertises itself as compatible with polylang.

    It looks as though we may need to build a separate slider for each language used on the site. This would greatly increase the amount of time constructing and updating sliders, as we have four languages, and sliders on multiple pages. Is there an easier way, or a particular slider widget that has better compatibility with polylang?
