Polylang unable to translate author bio on wordpress.com

    I’m using Polylang on a wordpress.com hosted website (not www.remarpro.com stand-alone), auralcrave.com, since years.

    Until some months ago, I was able to edit the author’s bios (mine and my contributors’) from WordPress admin dashboard (Users section of my wp-admin dashboard, then settings in the selected user). In that section there was name, surname, displayed name and bio, and I could edit bio in all my website languages (there were different textboxes, one per language). Recently wordpress.com took this feature out, now each wordpress.com user can edit by themselves from https://wordpress.com/me page. But in that page, I can’t edit my bio for my Polylang languages.

    The result right now is that all bios edited before that change are still there. But if I add now a new user, he can edit his bio on his default language and I cannot translate it. Or if I add a new language, I cannot populate the bio in the new language.
    Example, this article: https://auralcrave.com/es/2022/02/02/el-cuervo-en-que-scena-muere-brandon-lee/. It’s present in my website in all 3 languages, Italian, English and Spanish. My bio was already in Italian and English, edited before the change I mentioned. I now added Spanish language, I display everything correctly, but I have no chance to update my Spanish bio, which appears empty.

    I’m contacting also wordpress.com support. They asked me if you have a feedback about it first. What’s your view about this?
