2.Yes, I have a static front-page. It works OK with Polylang (I use ‘Link Cloaking’ plugin for redirecting polylang language homes to the static multi-language front-pages)
3.Polylang Settings: English (default); enabled ‘The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks’; enable ‘Hide URL language information for default language’. Everything else by default.

Hi Chouby and Polylang community!, here is my problem, I hope you can help me:

English is the default language in my website & Home Page:
    https://projectmanagers.org/home

I’ve also translated my Home Page into Spanish:
    https://projectmanagers.org/es/inicio

My Home Page is a Newspaper Style with 5 categories: News & Events, Best Practices, Case Studies, Leadership, Career Advice.

In Polylang “Strings Translation” I’ve found 2 of these categories for translating, but the other 3 are missing.

    All the best,
    Angel Berniz

    Hi
Categories are not translated in Strings translation.
Could you provide a screen copy of “I’ve found 2 of these categories for translating”?

Hi!, here is the screen copy:
    https://images.projectmanagers.org/docs/polylang-support.jpg

When I say categories I don’t mean WP Categories, but the Home Page sections.

Think of this as a Widget for each section. These sections are linked to WP Categories in the theme Home Page Builder. In the screen copy, “Jarida” is the theme. The point is that I only find in Polylang “Strings Translation” 2 of the 5 sections of my Home Page.

Does Jarida theme is freely available?

No, it is a premium theme.

Do you have in your theme files a wpml-config.xml?

    You have 2 possibilities:
*Either you ask to your theme author why your missing option doesn’t appear in the wpml-config.xml.
*Or you set up a widget per language. For all widgets you have the possibility to choose to display it for all languages (default) or only one language. See: 5 – CREATING WIDGETS

    Hi thanks!

I’ve talked with the theme author, they say it is not an easy solution. I’ve added it as a development request for future improvements.

So I will try the second option. The point is that this are label/cats in the Home Builder, not a widget. So I am not sure if this second option will work.
