    Hello,

I have a problem in translating content in a site. It is a site which use Magic Fields 2 for managing Custom Fields.

What happen is when I try to translate a post in another language it is not populating the custom fields.
If I look at the value they are there, but it is not working with the UI of Magic Fields.

The site use a Static Front page, the permalinks are set to use the lang abbreviation for the new language, not for the default one.
Also it is set to sync all the custom fields.

    Thank you for helping me.

There is nothing I can do. Magic Fields uses a custom table in database to store some data related to custom fields and does not look at any existing custom fields values (which could have been created by Polylang) if they are not present in this table.

Maybe you can look at Advanced Custom Fields or Custom Field Template to see if they fit your needs as these two plugins should interact better with Polylang.

Thank you Chouby for you fast and clear answer (and the wonderful plugin).

It is what I was supposing as a problem, and you confirm it.
