Polylang plugin problems (widget and loading error)

I have two problems with using the Polylang plugin (our theme, twenty-seventeen):
– when the polylang was installed and asked that the available pages are which language, I answerd to it they are hungarian – it was. Thean I set the english language and I set thise language should be the primary on our website. The result is as follows: when I write this URL https://www.flavatar.com and load https://www.flavatar.com/hu
…maybe I understand why, but I can’t switch it. (The domain hasn’t got any redirecting.)
– when I set at first the language switcher (widget) to the menu (at hungarian pages) it works good. When I wanted to set it up in the english menu, no language switcher widget anywhere. So I can’t switch the language back on the site. What can I do? Or is it not available in the free version?
