Polylang Metadescription Home Page not working

  • Hi,
    I have a blog hosted in Siteground, it’s in two languages (English and Spanish), and I use Polylang plugin. I am facing an issue when trying to translate the metadescription of my home page.

    I go to Languages -> Strings translations -> metadesc-home-wpseo and I edit each field with the definition on each language.

    I have realised that when I click on “save settings”, the same description appears on both, so both English and Spanish are on the same language (which will be the last one that I have edited). I don’t use a static page for home, I use the “latest post” option, so I don’t know where else I can edit the metadescription of the home page in both languages. Could you please help me?

    The same for me, I have a website with multiple languages, the meta description doesn’t stay saved, I see the final translation on all the other languages fields.
