Polylang Language Switcher Menu as Submenu

  • Hi you all,

    this is my first question and first activity in this board. I’ve been following the articles for a longer time though.

    I have just added polylang to my website https://www.nicosauer.de

    I would like to put the language switcher next to the social icons. I have absolutely no clue how to do that.

    Next I would like to remove the remove the background color the currently active language has. The flags should just stay up there and react with the theme internal fade-in-out to the mouse.

    Does anybody have an idea how to do that?

  • There is a checkbox that allows to position language switcher items at the end of the menu. It seems that this is the way you implemented Polylang on your site.

    However, you may also activate menu switcher through a widget. Depending on your theme, this might allow you to insert the language switcher beside your social icons.
