POLYLANG ISSUES

Could you please tell me more about your issue? We have indeed tried to improve our integration with Yoast SEO in this version. Maye we have missed something in our tests.

I had done an SEO Site check up on my site and noticed that my Meta description via the yoast plugin had not disappeared but was only showing up half of the meta description. I deactivated all the plugins and activated them one by one and when the Polylang plugin was deactivated the full Meta description appeared normally (prior to this error there had been an update of the the Polylang Plugin from 2.82 to 2.83). Basically i have rolled back to 2.82 and it is back to normal.

Sorry, but that’s not sufficient to help you. I need to know the page where the meta description is wrong, what is outputed with the version 2.8.2 and what is the difference with the version 2.8.3.

Could you please give us the steps to reproduce your issue and illustrate it thanks to some screenshots? So that we would understand what’s happening and try to reproduce it on our environment.

I updated to version 2.83 on Polylang and my meta description on the SERPs only shows the first line if my meta description is – (“We aim to provide our customers with a superior pizza experience and Due to Covid-19 our collection & delivery hours have been updated. Please check our”). After the the update to Version 2.83 my meta description would only show (“We aim to provide our customers with a superior pizza experience and Due to Covid-19 our collection”).

So after the update my full meta description only shows half of the whole sentence and it is bad foe SEO.. SO I HAVE ROLLED BACK TO VERSION 2.82 OF POLYLANG AND IT IS OKAY. 2.83 NO GOOD.
