• Hi, I’m trying to develop the multi-language part of a client’s website right now. I’ve built the site with headway but I’m having difficulty with elements such as those encoded/built directly into the grid view with headway blocks (ie. custom coded items, slider blocks, forms, widget blocks, etc)

I thought solving this would be relatively simple: duplicate the shared templates in use for each new language, substitute translations into the necessary blocks, and apply the new template to the translated page (page edit and use shared layout option). Unfortunately, I have had no success in doing so. I’ve even tried applying it directly to the Front Page: (WPML: FR) in headway’s backend, but that didn’t seem to work either.

These both seemed like the most logical solutions but I’m quite baffled that they aren’t working. Does anyone have any idea how to make this work?

Thanks for any insight on the situation!
