polylang incompatible with Javo directory theme?

Hi,

we installed the polylang plugin to our Javo directory theme site and it seemed to be working well. Now that the whole site is translated in three languages, we see the respective posts (listings) on the homepage of each language, but not on the category pages. That is to say, the english version seems to be working correctly, all posts are to be found on their respective category page.
In the spanish version, only some post show up (example: category “compare local” has 23 posts in total, but only 10 of those show up on the category search results page)
The german version is even worse, only 5 posts show up in total out of about 60.

I am reluctant to change to another translation plugin, since everything is working fine in the english version and we have spend a lot of time building the site in three languages.

Any idea what could cause this?

Theme support sais it is because the polylang plugin is not compatible with Javo directory theme…:-(
