Polylang gives error: "Impossible to add the language."

Did you try with SKT White theme and only Polylang, with the other plugins deactivated?

Nope, but actually I always install the same plugins and had no issues so far. The only difference in this case being the theme.

So, I removed the theme and tried with 6 themes: same error. I made sure all these are translation-ready. Basically, Polylang had the exact same error with Twenty * (all the default plugins in WP install).

Any idea?

P.S. I have also deactivated all plugins except Polylang and Akismet, emptied the cache, tried to add a language -> same error… And this is regardless of the theme (here, Twenty Sixteen).

Same problem for me.

Deactivated all plugins => problem remained
Deleted and reinstalled Polylang => problem solved

With all plugins and themes deactivated.
