Polylang excerpts way to long

    Hi i use polylang for English(default) Chinese and Korean. English excerpts are working fine but when i switch to chinese its basically full content?

    Are you limiting the excerpt by words or characters ?

    Because if you limit by words, there is no multibyte function for str_word_count() . OTOH, limiting by characters should work fine since it uses mb_strlen() .

    So try limiting by characters and see if that works for you, if not, plesae report back.

    Well, I tried limiting by chars and it seems to be working for me. See:
