Polylang & Enfold theme: why is homepage displayed twice in the navigation?

You didn’t provide the good screenshot. You have provided a “language_switch” menu instead the English menu.
Could you provide in Appearance > Menus: your English menu, with the ‘Home’ page metabox opened (placed in the “menustruktur”)?

Did you test your menus configuration with the default theme as Twenty Fifteen with Polylang? Have you the same issue?

thanks for your help. But could you please specify what you mean?

I have created only one custom menu, that is the “language switch” menu which I’m using within the secondary navigation on top of the Enfold theme.

Where do I find my English menu and where is the home page metabox?

I don’t know Enfold but usually the menus are created in the WordPress option thanks to the Appearance > Customise or Menus.
You must create one menus per language as it explains in the Polylang getting started: 4 – CREATING MENUS

That was quite difficult but I achieved it now.
I didn’t know I had to create 2 extra menus for German and English language in the appearance > menus section, because the menus were working before (only with the Home page doubled).
