Polylang Dual language website – cart disappears when switching language

Does your site use multiple different menus for the separate languages (i.e, the translate menus)? The free version only hooks into one menu, if the secondary language is a separate menu, it would explain why it’s not showing up there. Could you provide a link to the site in question?

Yes, that is correct, I use separate menus for the languages. You can check the site here: https://astockdesign.com/georgiadragonwines/

That explains the issue then – the menu ‘top-menu’ has been configured to show the menu cart, but the ‘top-menu-jap’ menu is a separate menu that’s not included in the settings because the free version can only be used in one menu.

So if I get the Pro version of the plugin, that should fix the problem and I can also translate the plugin using Polylang, is that correct?

With the pro version you can add it to any number of menus, so that should let you add it to the secondary menu. There is no Polylang specific code in the plugin, but it’s fully translatable.
