Polylang does not work

Hello, I’m using polylang plugin with kadence theme. The language switcher works only with desktop view but not mobile view. In mobile view, whenever I select another language the page is not redirected to the new selected language.

steps to reproduce:

1. Install kadence theme and polylang plugin
2. add a different language
3. add language switcher to the menu using html block and shortcode from polylang
4. check both desktop and mobile view
5. the language switcher works only in desktop mode and not in mobile view
