Polylang displaying multilingual taxonomies in search

I’ve been struggling with a minor detail. When I search by location or by type on the site https://www.followmehome.cz, options are multilingual (see here or on the live version of the site).

In English version, there should be only Prague 1-10 and in Czech version, there should be Praha 1-10. They certainly shouldn’t be together. Is there a way to limit these categories by language?

The wpCasa support and development teams are currently testing it all out with mixed results.

I guess you didn’t have but I still need to ask: Did you customize the code of wpCasa or any of the plugins?

I will also forward this to our devs, so they might be able to tell me what might went wrong on your site.

Hello,

I had now a closer look at your issue with Simon, but we both couldn’t find the issue. We make proper use of the get_terms function from WordPress and it has worked before. Our assumption is that the latest version of Polylang is the reason again for that issue :/

I’m really sorry to tell you that, but the best would be to get in touch with the author of Polylang to see if he can resolve this bug.

On a sidenote: We’ve tested this on some of our test installations and while the same issue didn’t occured on my site, it does occured on the site from simon. He will also have a look in the next few days if there is anything we can do from our side, but the best bet will be to get in touch with the Polylang Author.

Tough, this issue might be annoying – believe it, Polylang is still better as WPML ??
