• Hello,

since updating to new versions of WP and all Plugins I have an error with Polylang and CPT-onomies. I am using a network site, but I am admin of everything.
The Site has a static homepage, the default language (german) is working but the translation is displaying a 404.

    site.tld/ works fine
    site.tlg/en 404

Rest of the page is working fine in both languages, even with CPTs, CPT-onomies.

Polylang is set to hide the language in the default language and and hide /language/ in the permalinks. Permalinks are set to /%category%/%postname%/

The reason I am writing about CPT-onomies is, because I tried to track the error down. So I switched to the default theme (same errors) and then switching of plugins one by one. When CPT-onomies was off, it worked. All other plugins were back on, so it looks like a error between CPT-onomies and polylang, but I can’t really say where exact the error is.

Because of this I posted this in both support forums, if this is causing confusion, please tell me.

  • Hi! Hmm. I’m not really sure what the issue is. Have you been able to figure anything out? Have you flushed your permalink settings? (Settings->Permalinks->click Save Changes)

Yes. Even without pretty permalinks there is the 404 error.

mydomain.tld/?lang=en = 404 (no loop errors, with default themes too)

Do you know any way to further investigate the issue? Where to look? Posting settings of plugins?

I would love to provide any helpful information the resolve it.
