Hi! Thanks for the plugin. It is certainly the best events calendar plugin out there.

My blog is written in Portuguese and English, with the use of Polylang. I’d like to know if there’s a way to make it so that the calendar would only show events specifically for the readers’ language, like Polylang does for regular translated posts.

The way it is, if I translate a specific event, for example, it’ll show to copies of said event in the calendar, one in each language.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for the response!

I have already found a fix for my issue…

Apparently, when you create an event (while using Polylang and MEC) it’ll be created for both languages. To avoid the double entry you must also create a translation for said event.

In case you only want to show a particular event for the readers of one of the languages, you only have to create the event translation post. You can delete it right afterwards. There’s no need to write anything.

It’s not ideal but it works.

    Hello @mythologica,

Sorry for the experience that was not ideal, to improve it I’ll forward your topic to the developer team if it has happened from MEC so we’ll improve it in the next upcoming updates.

However, I’m glad it is fixed.

    Best Regards
