Polylang and WP customizer options

I’m currently working on a website which uses Polylang and where I have added some options to the WP customizer. Some of them are text areas which I want to use for multiple languages. However, if I use them the default WordPress way, there will only be one (language) version available for them.
So (how) can I use my WP customizer texts in a multilangual way with Polylang?
