    Hi
You must create a slider per language.
Go in Strings translation and fill the name of your english and french sliders and save your changes.

    Hi Chrysti,
    Thanks for your quick answer.

I have created a slider per language and on my strings translation, I’ve already filled in French and English.

What I don’t understand is how to select a different slider and use a different text in the 3 top pages, depending on each language. When I make changes, it affects both the French and the English home pages at the same time…

So in Media > Library > Edit english media: you have filled the Slider options. And do the same for french.

Did you setup your sliders in your both Pages (Slider options)?

    Hi Chrysti,

Thanks again for your valuable help!
Now it works for the sliders ?? One additional information that could be useful for other users is that in order to have 2 different sliders for each home page, one must choose “no diaporama” in the Customizr settings. Otherwise, it takes priority on the sliders you choose for each page on wordpress.

However, I still need some help for the 3 feature pages. How do you differentiate these 3 pages (along with the text written underneath and the text inside the button) for each language?
I guess you need to desactivate “features pages” in the Customizr settings. But then, how do you set these options inside WordPress? Unlike “sliders”, I don’t see any “features pages” options on the page itself…

    I hope I’m clear in my question…

Sorry I don’t understand your question. What is “3 feature pages”.
If you can provide a copy screen it could help.

Ya, I don’t know exactly how to translate in English “page à la une”…
Under the slider, there is 3 “Photos + text”. When you click on them, you go on a another page.
Here is the internet site : https://www.xfittraining.fr

What I call a “feature page” (even if it’s not the right name) is the for example the picture with people holding a kettlebell, with written underneath “Small group Training coach sportif certifié CrossFit Level 1”.

What I don’t know in the English version, is how to change these “feature pages” into other ones…

Thanks again for the time you spend on my request, I appreciate

“Small group Training coach sportif certifié CrossFit Level 1”.

If you want change the text go in Settings > Languages > Strings translation tab.

the picture with people holding a kettlebell

If you want change this “featured image” edit your page and thanks to the feature image metabox (right bottom) upload your image from the media library.

    Hi Chrystl,

    Thanks for your answer.

Actually, the main problem I have is to be able, in my English home page, to choose 3 different pages (the ones that are translated into English) than the 3 ones in my French home page (which are written in French).

Currently, to “try” to do these changes, I go on my website, click on “Xfit Training” > Customize > Main content > Home page.
And therefore changes are done both in my French and English home pages.

Like for the slider, is it possible to differentiate these 2 home pages by doing the changes directly on WordPress?

    Is it OK?

    Hi Chrystl,

    Thanks again for your help.

I guess the problem comes from the fact I don’t have the “Customizr” group in my list of groups :

And I have no idea how to have it. I’ve looked on the settings of Polylang and I do not see where to enable it…

    Do you have an idea?

Could you de-activate all your plugins except Polylang.
Then re-activate them one by one, checking at each time if Customizr group appear in String translation, until you find the conflict source.

    Hi Chrystl,

I de-activated all my plugins except Polylang: in this case, I still don’t have the Customizr group appearing in String translations…

It’s not an easy one this one!

Did you use the last version of Customizr?

EDIT: You have the 3.3.13. Please update.

Whow, I can’t believe it was something as stupid as the theme not being updated!

    It works perfectly now!!

Thank you so much for your time and patience. I have really appreciated your valuable help! ??
