• Hi all

Im experiencing some strange bug in one of my installations.
Its an web page in development for real estate industry using wpcasa as listing plugin.
So far 3 languages installed, until today all worked properly.

While I deleted an imported XML batch (something i’ve done fairly often past weeks while testing the system) something happened with polylang, and 200 tags, titles, or random worlds were included in language list. By deactivating every plugin and reactivating it back one by I found out is an polylang bug. Everything rest works as expected and without issues. All plugins and themes and Wp installation are up-to-date

    See photo bellow:
    language tab screenshoot

Now is there a way how I can have all this strange stuff deleted from polylang without killing all settings?
A bulk actions to delete all this mess would be great

If anyone comes up with same issue.

My solution was killing polylang tru ftp. Installing fresh copy of polylang.
Unfortunately lost all polylang setup and translations and hours to link everything back as it should be.

I understand that non paying clients ain’t priority but such situation is quite a mess to resolve if happens on live site.
However if anyone wanna invest time in research how bug happen I believe it has to be some issue between polylang 2.09 and wp-all-import. Something happened when all XML data was deleted.

I do use both on different sites and this is first time I had any issue with any of em.

    Update

On fresh reinstall same issue happened when custom strings were added to polylang using pll_register_string option. When new custom string is registered and added to translation panel, saving custom string translation leaded to breaking polylang and getting approximately 219 various strings to language list. I still think there is some connection between wp-all-import and polylang issue for this to happen.
Until update to polylang 2.09 for over a month extensive testing of the system setup did not lead to this issue.
Furthermore I can deactivate polylang only if using build deactivation on plugins submenu, trying to us deactivate button under the plugin leads to message that web site is currently unable to handle this request.
