Polylang 1.1.1 warning invalid argument in autotranslate.php

That’s a different error from which you are thinking of. This is probably due to a plugin (or the theme) which does not use the function ‘get_terms’ as expected. According to the codex, the argument ‘include’ is an array so I take it as is. But looking at the core code, WordPress also accepts a coma separated list. But not Polylang… So I have to correct that.

a quick fix should be to replace the line 141 in polylang/include/auto-translate.php

foreach($args['include'] as $id)

by

foreach(wp_parse_id_list($args['include']) as $id)

The fix has been added to the development version (1.1.1.1)
