Hi. I’m using the most recent version of WP Poll and they don’t seem to be closing automatically at the specified time. Not sure if I’m missing a setting or something?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

It finally closed. But not at the time I specified. Any suggestions? Thank you!

The WordPress cron runs every 6 hours, so it might not be on the dot. I will be fixing this in the next version for hourly run instead.

I’ve had issues with wp-polls while using cache plugins. WP Fastest Cache claims to be compatible. Do you know if that is true? Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the donation. I don’t use any caching plugin myself, so I can’t verify whether it will work with it. But generally caching plugin does not work with this plugin as the plugin loads by PHP rather than JS and hence if a page is being cached, the poll will be cache and it might affect whether the user has voted or not.

For the hourly cron, you can try the dev version https://github.com/lesterchan/wp-polls/archive/master.zip =)
