PollDaddy won't register votes

I’ve added some polls to my website but the votes won’t register. Sometimes they do if you click to check results first but other times it just remains static when you click on vote.
It isn’t repeat voters as have tried that but friends have attempted to vote and it won’t let them.
Does anyone know why?
