hi, thanks for the great plugin.

I think there is no utility with the “enable custom input” button for 2 reasons.

    1) When someone introduces a new option, this option should be visible to other users who want to vote in the poll. This is not done and the new proposals do not appear anywhere in the vote.

    2) The option to enter a new answer should not appear as one of the voting options. When the user chooses to enter a new option he wants to display his option and not to vote for the “enable custom input” fields.

    Thanks for the support!

    Hi @papamak

I hope you are doing well.

Thank you for the feedback and we are happy to hear you think it is a great plugin.

I checked our requests and found a similar request in the past to include the other text on the vote on the front end, I added this as an extra request.

This is not done and the new proposals do not appear anywhere in the vote.

The idea of custom input is to generate a report for who checked the Poll result, the Other text is available when downloading the CSV on Forminator > Submissions for example.

I am afraid it is not possible to add the custom “other” as an extra option, I created a feature request for this to our developers but we can’t give an estimated time to implement it, it may get a higher priority if more users request the same.

    Best Regards
