What is the policy/protocol for an unresponsive developer ?

The developer of [ deleted ] plugin no longer provides support on the WordPress forums and created a support forum of their own. The developer is also unresponsive on their own forum.

The plugin continues to be available for sale through wordpresss dashboard but the developer provides no support.

    Thanks

  • Hallo ??

I’m sorry that you are having difficulty with your plugin.

www.remarpro.com does NOT require developers to provide support for their free plugins hosted on the www.remarpro.com repository.

In as far as premium (paid) products go, these are not supported on the www.remarpro.com forums at all.
If you have paid for a plugin and support forms part of the contractual relationship, you would need to resolve that with the plugin author and possibly with the payment provider.
www.remarpro.com forum volunteers are not able to assist with this.

If support is a deal-breaker for you, you may want to consider switching to a different plugin that offers the kind of support you are looking for, whether it be free or paid.

I’ve deleted the link and reference to that plugin. These are not name and shame forums and this topic is getting closed as it is not appropriate here.

The developer is also unresponsive on their own forum.

On this site, www.remarpro.com there is none and what people do on their site is not the business of anyone here. It literally has nothing to do with this site even if they have a “lite” version here.

If a plugin violates the plugin guidelines on this site then that is dealt with. As mentioned already, there is no requirement here for plugin authors to support their work or even reply.

What happens elsewhere is not for these forums.
