Policy Bar Not Showing

    Hello,

    I’m using GDPR version 2.0.3 (from the repo) and WordPress version 4.9.6 but can’t seem to make the privacy bar appear on the frontend. I can give access to check. I’m using the plugin on my other sites and they seem fine. Tried to deactivate the other plugins but nothing worked. Appreciate any help, thanks!

    Hi @suikalum,

    Under GDPR > Settings, do you have “Enable the Privacy Bar” enabled as well as added text to the Privacy Bar Content field?

    Yes, we already did.

    same problem here: only on one site, if I check the “Toggles the Privacy Bar On/Off.” and save, the check disappears and the bar doesn’t show…

    Hi all,

    This has been solved – turns out our custom theme was missing the wp_footer() function before the </body> tag so the privacy bar wasn’t being hooked into anything.

    Another problem was the Nginx Helper plugin’s cache setting needed to be purged.
