Polarizing

Looking at the Star Rating of this plugin seems to suggest, that either you like Happy Forms or you have to hate it. Not much in between. Reading through some of the bad ratings, the guys from HappyForms had at one time to make a hard decision concerning the future prospect of their company and bump up against the heads of their existing free users. Not always do we make good decisions and sometimes we have to learn our lessons the hard way.
I for myself tried to integrate HappyForms in my latest project and stumbled upon a kind of exotic problem, which partly rooted my own architecture approach. After I analysed the problem I contacted the support and virtually immediatly got a surprisingly friendly response and some snippet to quick fix my problem, while promising to integrate the fix into their next release. It will show if they keep their word, but for now I have no reason to suspect.
HappyForms for me looks like a ton of good work and love for the user experience of WordPress. So I think it isn’t such a bad thing to hope for getting at least something back, even if its in the form of money.
So go on with it, people!
