    Hi,

    I Have a points table with teams.

    I Want position number and team name and points but when i desc or asec the points coloumn i dont want to move the position number only want to move the team name and points?……how do i do this?

    the position column must stay fixed without arranging with other columns?

    Hi,

    How do i have a fixed position column like position 1, 2, 3 etc…… any the highest points goes to the top of table?.

    I added a column called position but when i sorted via points the position numbers were not in order they ended up like 1, 7 , 10, 4 etc……and not 1,2,3

    or even better would be to display the table row number ID but dont know how

    Hi,

    did you install and activate the TablePress Extension from the link above and add the Shortcode parameter, as described in the instructions in that link?
    That will turn your table into something like this: https://www.datatables.net/examples/api/counter_column.html

    Is that what you want?
