Point system that tracks amount of characters a user types?

Hi,

I have a client that is looking for to add a points system to their site. In particular, however, they are looking for a point system that counts the number of characters that people are typing in and assigns these to a point system for that user.

Does anyone have any recommendations or pointers to where I could find a plugin that could do this?
