I am using Pods as a data source for the FacetWP plugin. Through Pods version 2.9.13, everything has been working fine with both plugins but with the update from 2.9.13 to 2.9.14, custom (meta based) post types are no longer being indexed properly by FacetWP.

I attempted to compare the commits between the releases on GitHub (https://github.com/pods-framework/pods/compare/2.9.13…2.9.14) and I think it may have something?to do with the changes in classes/PodsMeta.php (commit id:?7d3f920) but simply don’t know enough about the integration between the two plugins to say definitively.

For the time being, I have rolled back to Pods 2.9.13 but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to make you aware of this. (I reached out to the folks at FacetWP but they informed me they decommissioned their Pods integration plugin on May 1 so I will either have to fix what is broken in their plugin or find a fix via Pods).

Maybe you have heard of other reports of issues and are working on or have a solution. In any case, I would appreciate any insight you may have that?might help resolve this so I can move to?the latest version of Pods.

I greatly appreciate the response @pdclark! I do have a dev site with some freedom to test things out so let me know if I can be of further assistance in getting this figured out.

@pdclark The fix pushed out in Pods 2.9.19 seems to have fixed this issue. I hadn’t even considered that it could be related to caching mode validation even though I had done some basic troubleshooting like clearing the Pods cache. Props to @bjornha for discovering this issue and assisting with a fix!
