Copyright not updating

  • I have searched to what I can do to correct the copyright, but it is already set to the auto correct date. However, it still says 2016. Yes, we are 1/2 way through 2017. Just help ??

    <?php echo date(‘Y’); bloginfo(‘name’); ?>

    is the code that is currently in there. I have tried other combinations via web. Is there a code I can just insert with the date? I do not mind updating it.
