PODS has stopped functioning

Have tried shutting down all other plugins except download manager (which is necessary as the pods facilitate downloads) and setting to base WP theme. Same problem

Incidentally, I have the test bed that this is developed on. Thats with PODS v 2.7.30 and it works fine with download manager 3.2.15
Thats on a different server though.

Currently all pages with pods seem like they are not able to connect to the database or where ever they are picking their content from

Did you check the browser console voor JS errors?
I use the Download Manager plugin in some projects myself along with Pods but haven’t encountered issues yet.

Both seem to be pointing to the same file “pods-dfv.min.js”
That file incidentally has only write permission.
Is that ok?

All files should be chmod 644 (also read) so it looks like Pods isn’t installed correctly.
A re-installation could be your solution otherwise please modify this through your webserver.

actually changed it then itself and it started working.
Any reason why the permissions would change like that?
