PODS Field Type “File/Image/Video” Does Not “See” .pdf Files
-
I have created a PODS custom post type and associated PODS template that includes several “File / Image / Video” fields in order to display multiple images (.tif, .jpg, etc.) and a .pdf document using the custom post type. The images and .pdf files are co-located and stored in the Media Library, which itself is redirected to Amazon S3 (using the Offload Media plug-in). Other plug-ins readily “see” both image and .pdf file types properly.
The “File / Image / Video” fields in the created instances of the PODS template “see” and can link to each and every image file without problems when the “Add File” command button (associated with the “File / Image / Video” field) is clicked; every image in the Media Library is present, and selectable. But, NONE of the [several] .pdf files in the Media Library are visible and therefore not selectable.
It appears the “File / Image / Video” field only “sees” image files, not document files. I have not found a setting or switch that affects this behavior.
Can anyone shed some light on why this behavior is occurring and how I might correct it?
Thank you in advance,
