Pods Disappeared on Backend Menu

    The site that I now help maintain had quite a number of Pods, and you could quickly access them via the sidebar menu in the back-end of WordPress. Recently, they all disappeared from the sidebar menu. We’re unsure why this happened, and we can still see them under Pods Admin.

    Would anyone be able to help me understand why the Pods are no longer visible on the sidebar menu?

    Do you see a Pods Admin AND a Pods menu item in the sidebar?

    Start looking for plugin and theme conflicts and possible cache issues. First, go into Pods Admin, Settings and Clear Cache. To rule out plugins, deactivate all but Pods and reactivate one at a time until you find the conflicting plugin. It also helps to switch to a default Twenty something theme to rule out theme conflicts.

    @scott – no we couldn’t see the Pods menu, but he have managed to fix it now.

    @jim – We found the problem, and thus, it became a low priority to respond back. Sorry for the trouble, but i appreciate your response!

    Not a worry about low priority on responding but we do check our queues regularly and follow-up with you folks, so I’m glad you got it working. What did you do to fix it?

    I wasn’t the one who found the fix, and so, details may be a bit fuzzy. In his email, he said that he “…unselect[ed] Show Admin Menu in Dashboard, Save, re-select Show Admin Menu in Dashboard, and save.” for a particular pod. I’m not sure if that really did end up fixing it.
