    Hi

I’ve been using Pods with a lot of success, but I fall on an issue that really complicates my website development.

I have something like 2400 media files, including pictures, pdf and other documents.
Each type I go to the media library to pick a file in the back office or upload a file, the clock turns, and it could last up to 1 min to display the files. Even if I type in some characters to filter the media file names, it still takes a lot of time.

i’ve been investigating which plugin created that problem, and it appears that the problem is still there when I only have pods activated, but disappears if I deactivate Pods.

Which leaves me in an uncomfortable position, as I need both Pods and my media.

Any clue why Pods has some impact on media selection ?

    Hi @hkabla

Do you happen to have a lot of fields active on media/attachments?
Please provide us with more info about your setup!

Hi Jory, I only have added two fields on Media, pointing to two types of Pods.
What kind of additional info do you need ?

    Hi @hkabla
So these would be relationship fields right?
If you disable these fields, is the problem still occurring?
Please test and compare on a staging environment!
