Podpress — problem installing it

  • I installed Podpress 8.8.1, but the location section on my “write post” page didn’t have the down arrow which I saw on one of the online tutorials and the two lines in settings where the url and link to downloads go seemed wrong. At least, they didn’t work.

    So I deactivated and uninstalled the program and tried again. But now, no matter how many times I upload the file to the plugin directory, it does not show up on plugins on my site. what should I do?

    I have a copy of the older podpress 7.4. Should I try to install that?
