• I installed the latest version of Podpress (8.8) and am trying to get it working. I go to the podcast area below the post, add a media link to a video file on our server, and it pops up fine with set up info, dimensions, file size, etc. But when I save or publish the file, all of the info in the podcast section just disappears, and no player or anything shows up in the post at all.

Am I missing something? I went through all of the set up screens, and don’t see anything worth changing, yet the file info just keeps disappearing.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Has anyone successfully used Podpress? The online instructions seem pretty clear, but I can’t get it to work. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

First I got down below the post window, and under “Podcasting” I click the “Add Media” button, and then fill in the full URL for the video file. When entered, a video player screen holder pops up, it can auto detect the file size and everything. I then enter in the post window the code [display_podcast] and hit save. As soon as I hit save, the information in the podcasting media form disappears, and nothing shows up when I view the post.

Is there a step I am missing?

i seem to be having issues with this plugin, i think ill reinstall it.

Podpress 8.8 doesn’t work with WP 2.6 This is a known issue related to the post revisions. Search google for PodPress 8.8 fix or PodPress WordPress 2.6 fix.
