    Hi,

    My website is https://www.jamesmelzer.net and I use Podpress for all my podcasts. I’m running version 8.8 of podpress.

    I’m trying to get the number of downloads to show beside each podcast episode but can’t seem to figure out how. I enable podPress statistics and the Test Stats Support works fine but when I go back to the site and try and play the episode, it just keeps loading and loading and never plays.

    It works fine with PodTrac Stats but I really want those downloads to show…anyone have any ideas?

  • The problem with podpress stats is almost always related to permalinks.

    If you configure permalinks to numeric, and make SURE they’re working, and that you can get to posts OTHER THAN PODPRESS by using them, then the podpress stats should start working and the downloading.

    If not, then not.

    This assumes that it works FINE when you have stats turned off, so that the path to the media files is correct. ??
