Podpress 8.8.3 – Feed Stats Not Recorded

Is this problem new with 8.8.2 or 8.8.3?

This has maybe something to do with the bugs of 8.8.2 and 8.8.3 which have probably, temporarily disturbed your podcast feed. Maybe there were no downloads while RSS feed was not valid.
I have tested the stats functionality with 8.8.4 on two different blogs each on a separate and different server. All 3 types of downloads have been counted correctly.

Did you still have this problem?

I upgraded to version 8.8.4 and it seems to be working fine now – I did find a temp solution of removing the // on version 8.8.4 – thanks for your speedy reply and speedy update ??

I am having this issue as well now with version 8.8.4. Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I’m at a total loss. What //’s did you remove?

@gamebynight: It is unlikely that the reason of your statistic problem has the same origin than the problem twinkleboi reported earlier because this was definitely a problem of 8.8.2 and 8.8.3 which caused constantly invalid RSS feeds. That problem is solved in 8.8.4.
