Podcast/Audio Player that lets you select from Media Library?

  • I adore the features in PowerPress, but having to enter the audio file URL manually is not an option for me. Also, I’m looking to utilize this for a Custom Post Type (WP2.9, WP3.0), but that isn’t important at the moment.

    Is there a plugin that will let me “embed” an audio player or utilize some podcast features by selecting the file from my Media Library?

    I’m shocked that this feature isn’t in PowerPress.

    I’m a developer and WP hacker, so if there’s a plugin that’s *close*, I’ll modify it to fit my needs, just looking for a nudge in the right direction (without having to try them all myself?).

    Last time I looked into adding such functionality to the “Media Library” screen it was with WordPrss 2.5. At the time I could not find an action or filter that would allow a plugin to add such functionality. I am sure that has changed since.
