    Hi Hugh!

    Sorry to bother you again. I updated my last support topic because we got an issue after updating links but I think you might have missed it because it was marked as “Solved”. I thus prefer to open a new topic in case you have any clue about this issue. Here it is:

    If I use the podcast_episode shortcode to display the audio player + details, episodes still appearing in the feed are shown as unplayed every time we publish something (even a regular WP post). Plus they get the title and featured image of the last published item…??! Have you encountered this issue before? Any clue on how to solve it or what might cause it?

    For now, I decided to switch to WP default [audio] shortcode and everything is back to normal. For bug tracking purpose, I left one of our older episode with SSP shortcode. You can see it in last position in this feed: https://agi.to/feed/podcast/les-agites-de-la-classe (the Sauron featured image).

    Setup and Settings
    – latest version of WP and SSP ;
    – SSP Settings > General: nothing checked;
    – SSP Settings > Publishing: External feed url: https://artsdufle.podcloud.fr/rss (has the same issue, of course)
    – podcast episodes are added to site main RSS feed with a snippet in functions.php
    – Media Player Style Kit plugin for customization of the player

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Fred

    PS: I apologize in advance if you actually saw the updated previous thread and just didn’t have the time to answer. m-_-m

    Hi there,

    I have been largely offline for the last few months and have been unable to help out all of this plugin’s awesome users in this forum. I’m sorry if this has inconvenienced you!

    As a result there are a large number of questions here that I just don’t have the time to answer effectively. There’s also a very good chance that the majority of them are no longer valid as it has been quite a while since they were posted.

    With that in mind, I’m going to close all of them (including this one), so if you still require support then please create a brand new topic and I will respond on there going forward, as I have time to do so.

    Thanks for your understanding!

    Cheers,
    Hugh
