Podcast Title

Okay, changing the Title in Podcast Settings has worked, as now the Title has changed accordingly in iTunes.

The only hiccup I’ve noticed thus far is that the Artwork isn’t showing up now for the subscribed episodes loaded into my iTunes Library, although it was visible before.

So I don’t know if it’s related, otherwise I would consider this matter resolved … ?

As you have no don’t worked out – iTunes takes a little while to update after you change your podcast settings. It can take up to 48 hours, but can also be as little as 1 or 2 hours – that schedule is dictated by iTunes and there’s nothing we can do to control it.

Regarding your artwork not showing up. Remember that all images need to be 1400×1400 pixels and must be either JPG or PNG files.

If that is all correct on your site, then you will need to contact iTunes about why they are not showing up correctly.

I also notice now that a new episode isn’t showing up in iTunes, although it is in my Feed, but as you stated it can take a while after a title change, so I’ll just keep my eye on it ..

As far as artwork goes, it doesn’t matter if Album Artwork is added to each mp3 file does it ? Does that make any difference at all ?

Yeah – just give iTunes a bit of time for the new episodes to show up.

Regarding the artwork – do you mean that you are adding the same artwork to each episode? That won’t be a problem at all, so if that’s the case then it won’t cause any issues.

Apple launched a new manager for podcasts, where you can start a manual refresh of the content. In most cases, it just takes 5 minutes to have the updated info on iTunes. ??
