If you just want to show a list of episodes, you can try “Podcast List” block for it.

Another option – [podcast_playlist] shortcode, which shows the player with playlist of other episodes. Here is an instruction on how to use it – https://support.castos.com/article/138-podcastplaylist-shortcode.

I was wondering if “Podcast List”?block?can be used to show the list of podcast based on “Tags” criteria. Also, is there anyway [podcast_playlist] shortcode can be used with “Tags” as well e.g. [podcast_playlist tags=”my-first-podcast”]?

Under “All Podcasts” menu, can you kindly tell me what is the meaning of “If you just want to organize episodes within the same feed we suggest using Tags.”

Unfortunately, for now “Podcast List” block has limited functionality and doesn’t allow showing a list on the tags criteria. We have a ticket to improve that block and add some more features, so I hope it will be available in the next plugin releases.

Regarding the [podcast_playlist] shortcode – I think, the correct usage would be the following: [podcast_playlist series=”my-first-podcast”].
The series parameter here means the slug of the podcast you created ( I know it’s a little bit confusing, but in the earlier plugin versions podcasts were called series. And thank you for the question, we will rename that parameter in the future plugin versions to podcasts ).

Regarding your last question – if you have multiple podcasts, just create another podcast. This way you’ll have multiple feed URLs, one URL for each podcast. If you want to have only one podcast, with only one feed URL, and at the same time you want to organize those episodes let’s say in different themes, seasons, etc., you can use tags for that.
