  • Since I can’t understand the language the site is in, I can’t see the reasoning for this hack. WP 1.5+ has the ability to include enclosures in the RSS 2.0 feed. Maybe you can further explain the reason why you created the quick tag hack.

    Here in the Netherlands, podcasting is being discovered. We also discovered that WordPress is a very useful tool. However, most of the people starting with podcasting have some difficulties with HTML-coding. For those people this “hack” is very useful. The only thing they’ll have to do is paste a link, either to an XML-feed or to an MP3 file so that WordPress can generate the right code in the post. The links will be shown as graphics and not as text.
