podcast images are no longer imported since June 1, 2023

Normally there shouldn’t be any issues with images, but you can check the “Tools -> Scheduled Actions” section to see if there are some failed or pending tasks.

hello, I repeat: until 3 days ago everything worked. Apart from the automatic updates I haven’t done anything. I’ve already checked the “Tools -> Scheduled Actions” section and there are no particular errors or reports. My theme is “Podcast Guru” and I know your plugin is not tested for this theme. But then again, everything was working until 3 days ago. Below I leave you my RSS feed.

I’ve just tried to import your podcast with featured images and they all went through just fine. (including recent ones)

The theme shouldn’t be a problem as this plugin doesn’t really interact in the same areas as themes. That being said – please have a look again at the “Schedule Actions” screen and check if there are failed jobs.
On top of that – please check your server’s debug.log file and see if there’s anything there.

You may also try to remove the scheduled import altogether and re-save it once again.

Can you please send me a screen shot of your test, I would like to see the visualization you have. At the very least I’ll have to change either theme or plugin, reluctantly. let me know please. You don’t need to replace the theme or plugin, I’m sure it’d still work.
Have you tried to remove the import and add it back in?

good evening and thanks for the picture and for the replies. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for me anymore. It was going until 4 days ago. The provider has checked and there are no changes on the server, nor errors in the logs. My wordpress does not give errors and the state of health is excellent without any reports. I am attaching the automatic upload screen and as you can see there are no images. I have already canceled the events and repeated the import a couple of times but the problem persists. Too bad I lost all listener comments with these procedures… If you have any other advice I would be grateful, otherwise I’ll have to think of something else. By the way I was about to switch to the PRO version, but that’s not good. Thanks in advance and good evening.

OK. It’s most probably something with the server, if your debug.log file is empty or non-existent you may have to enable logs via your wp-config.php file.

Also, you can try to deactivate all other plugins and use the default theme just for a moment and run the importer again – this way you’ll see if there’s a conflict with a plugin/theme although that rarely happens.

as already written above, together with my provider, whom I trust blindly, we have checked everything and the site and the server are perfectly functional. Furthermore, until June 1, 2023 your plugin worked correctly. I remind you that every time I re-import the podcasts I also lose all the comments from our listeners and this is not very nice.

I’m sure your hosting provider has done some research as well, and we’re always happy to look into these types of issues but it’d be impossible to debug this if you’re not willing to test server-related tasks.

I’ve just ran the importer with your feed on another, separate site, and it seems to be working properly there as well.

Have you tried disabling all other plugins?
Which WP version and PHP version are you currently using?
Is logging to your debug.log file configured in the wp-config.php file?
Lastly, could you please share a screenshot of the “Tools -> Action Scheduler” screen?

I am also facing the same issue on one of my sites. Checked action scheduler everything is fine. All schedules are completed. Kept the debug on. I will post the details soon here

Could you please share the RSS feed you’re trying to import?
Also, please share more info when possible (debug.log file, list of installed plugins, WP/PHP versions etc.) so I could try and debug this.

today 10 June 2023, the site and the plugin started importing images again, without anything being done. Unless automatic updates which I have not seen.

Let’s hope it’s fixed.

Perfect! Glad to hear it’s now working.
There weren’t any auto-updates to the plugin, maybe one of your other plugins or something that conflicted with this one.
