Podcast feed error

  • I’ve created a podcast through my website (https://www.niall.ca/?feed=podcast) using the Podpress plugin. When I run it through Feed Validator I get the following error:

    XML parsing error: <unknown>:268:72: not well-formed (invalid token)

    The feed works fine in Google Reader and on NetNewsWire for Mac. But it does not work on Firefox 3 for Mac or through iTunes. On Firefox, no posts appear; on iTunes, it returns a general exclamation mark error. The feed does work on those two latter applications when the number of posts is limited to six or less through WordPress.

    Help!

  • I was having the same problem where the web browsers gave me a feed error and XML parsing error.

    It turned out that since I was using an ampersand “&” in the author name it was causing all the problems. Once I removed it from everywhere I had the author names with the ampersand the feed worked.

    I had the same Feed problem. Feed was not working but when I set the post number as six, it start to work again like weeneely.
