Pocket Casts not authenticating with username/password

    Hello, I am using PowerPress to create a premium password-protected podcast. This seems to work great for certain podcast platforms, but for whatever reason, Pocket Casts seems to be blowing right through our authentication. It doesn’t ask for username or password at all, and gives direct access to all of our protected content regardless of whether they are a paying member of our site. Obviously I am not able to make our premium podcast link public if there are any platforms that allow our users to bypass our membership.

    Have you seen this issue in the past? Is there anything I might be doing wrong that is preventing this from working properly?

    Are you sure pocketcasts is not caching the login/password on whatever you were testing with?

    contact us direct at blubrry.com/contact and give us the feed (no password info) and I will test it.

    Otherwise, you will have to contact whoever makes the membership plugin you are using.
