PO files translations not working

    Hi,

    I am testing Learnpress in my web site, and the translations of the plugin texts (not the content of the lessons) with the PO files are not working if I set my website language in Spanish.

    Characteristics of my web site:
    – Theme: Hestia
    – Multilanguage site with: WP Multilang (English, Spanish and Catalan)

    I have checked the PO file for Spanish (learnpress-es_ES.po) and it’s correct. I have also created one for Catalan and it doesn’t work either. Also I tried the plugin in another wordpress site not multilanguage, creating the catalan PO file with loco and it doesn’t work either.

    I am not looking for a multilanguage plugin, I have planned different courses for the different languages. What I am searching is that the Learnpress plugin texts (like: free, enroll, etc and the texts in the admin interface) appear in the 3 languages, because the PO file exists in this languages it should works through the Loco Translate plugin. I have others plugins that aren’t multilanguage and with the PO file the translations work correctly.

  • Hi amararcreacions,

    Loco translate plugin doesn’t support for multilanguage. Although you created 3 PO file, only 1 PO file (the same language with language set in Setting of site) is active.
